The modifications consist of the Mod Collection-exclusive custom finish, a Custombucker Alnico 2 double-slug neck pickup with solid pickup cover and Custombucker Alnico 3 in the bridge position, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, Grover® Keystone tuners, and very lightly-aged hardware. It weighs 7.7 pounds and comes with a hardshell case that is lightly aged as well.
It will ship in the original shipping container which has the finish interestingly labeled "forensic fade" This title may have been too gory for public in Gibson's eyes. The pickups vary quite a lot in tone from very dark to nice and thick but clear. This guitar would make an insane addition to any collection, especially for any SG enthusiasts out there. This one immediately grabs your attention regardless and would be a stunner on any stage for any player, it exudes "rockstar". With the combination of the witch hat knobs, lightly aged tailpiece, tuners and oddball truss rod cover this one is all, pickups and finish this one is it's own top to bottom inside and out.
